SnapWords™ Teaching Cards (SWAENC1)
SnapWords™ Cards are essentials for teaching sight word recognition to a wide variety of learners, including visual learners, children labeled with ADD or ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or right brained learners. The images embedded into each word ensure that children gain a rich sight word vocabulary as easily as a camera snapping a picture and storing it in memory. But that's not all. Beyond just recognizing the words, the tools on the reverse of the card move children beyond calling out words to really understanding what they mean and how to use them in sentences. The reverse of each card displays the word without a visual and describes a hand motion for the word - a necessary tool for many kinesthetic learners and dyslexic children. In addition, a sentence using the word and coordinating with the visual on the front of the card focuses children's attentions to the meaning of the word and how it is used in everyday communication. These images have proven to be the turning point for children who had not made progress through any other means. Over 300 words, including all the Dolch high frequency words and the Fountas & Pinnell 100 most frequently recurring words. Each card is 5.5” wide by 4.25” tall.

W e have come to the point where every child seems to need a label that details specifically how he does or doesn’t learn. We have visual learner, tactile learner, dyslexic learner, autistic, to name just a few. The implication is that each of these types of learners requires a specific set of techniques and methods in order to learn. What we've discovered through research, reading the experts and working with children is that many of these non-traditional learners learn best through pictures and hands-on lessons. Multisensory materials for teaching reading provide the busy teacher with tools for success with any learner. Teach it once; watch them love learning.

SnapWords™ Landscapes (SWLS)
If you have limited hall space, consider the space-saving SnapWords™ Landscapes. These are perfect for displaying sight words on bulletin boards, small office walls, cafeteria walls, or wherever you feel a sight word display would reach a large number of children. In the classroom, display landscapes by a writing or sight words independent center, and replace with a higher level landscape as the children demonstrate that they know their words. There are five landscapes, one for each list of SnapWords™ A-E. Minimum size is 24” x 36”.

SnapWords™-on-the-Run (SWR)
Anyone who has taught in a school can attest to the amount of time wasted as children pass through hallways on the way to lunch, recess, PE, art, computer lab, etc. A clever way to use this wasted time to boost reading abilities is to post our SnapWords™-on-the-Run prominently in hallways so kids can absorb the info while passing through. For pre-k on up, SnapWords™-on-the-Run could truly end up being your most valuable tool for reinforcing sight words. Best of all, when you purchase these amazing teaching tools and post them in the school's hallways, they become accessible to the whole school, visible to beginners as well as older children who need a boost in sight word acquisition. There are five different SnapWords™-on-the-Run, one for each list of SnapWords™ A-E.

Testimonials
"Thanks so much for the  speedy reply.  I have shown these cards to so many people.  My students have done very well on sets A - C
.  Each week I let them help me pick out 10 new cards for our stack.  They also try to add the number 10 to the previous number of words that they know and are so impressed with themselves. They know close to 200 sight words! They know the 'sentence' that goes with the words and the motion."
